You're not alone in your anxiety, LiF sister. Whatever it is that's creating anxiety, whether it's some sort of incident or even if there's really no real reason for it at all, know that Jesus is here and He is for you. Here are some calming prayers to soothe your chaotic thoughts and remind you of God's love and care for you.

Happy October! We're pleased to share with you this month's theme: Work Hard, Pray Hard. We wanted to create some space to focus on living a prayerful life—one that meets your busy schedule. For every day you strive to do good things in our world, you should be inviting Jesus into your heart through prayer. 

Far beyond our own insecurities and earthly doubts lay a greater purpose—one that somehow makes this cold world bearable: Jesus is at work among us. Today, I'm focusing on how God chooses to use us to accomplish His will and further His kingdom work, and how this is exactly the type of news we need to keep trudging onward.
